Sharing Resources is an expression of New Life Christian Community’s values:
•Becoming a Biblically Functioning Community
•Generosity
•Responsibility of every person before God to be making all their resources available for God’s purposes.

Guidelines
Here is a very practical way to share resources as we pursue Biblical community. An Excel spreadsheet will be emailed to New Life News subscribers when the resource database is updated. For those who do not have email, a copy of the spreadsheet will be available at New Life Christian Community’s Administration Centre reception.

To contribute to the sharing there are two options available:
1. Email sharingresources@newlifefreo.com
2. Give a written copy of your contribution to the Sharing Resources facilitator on Sunday.

There are four categories:
1. Free - material objects, time or services that require no payment
2. Purchase – an object or service that is available for sale
3. Share – an object that is available for short-term loan to others
4. Wanted – a service or object that a member would like to borrow or purchase.

How it works:
Owner Responsibility: When somebody wants to purchase or collect the said item they need to contact the owner directly and then the owner MUST email the facilitator so the item can be removed from the spreadsheet. If the item is being borrowed it is the responsibility of the owner to keep records of when it’s available e.g. 'somebody is borrowing it this week-end but you can borrow it next week-end' If a photo of a said item is available it is to be emailed to the facilitator which can be emailed to a prospective borrower/purchaser if requested.

It is expected that all transactions will be done in a spirit of love and should a borrowed item be damaged, lost or broken then the parties involved will make appropriate restitution to the owner.
