Significant events are taking place in the earth at an unprecedented rate. The economic and political unrest across the Middle East and Europe is extraordinary. Natural disasters are occurring with increasing frequency and intensity. Evil agendas are gaining momentum in the political and social sphere. It is undeniable that the weeds sown into the field are growing towards maturity and this is the hour for the Church to rise up into maturity (Matthew 13:24-30).
John the Baptist lived a life of holy abandonment to God, choosing to live in the desert, eating locusts and honey when so many other enjoyable options were available. This was the lifestyle necessary for the one who was destined to prepare the Way of the Lord in his generation. There is a growing anticipation across the earth that a similar holiness revolution is coming to the Church to prepare the Way of the Lord and see glory rest on the Bride in the midst of great shaking. Consecrated 2011 will help to equip and empower the Church to live consecrated lives, set apart unto the Lord in the midst of everyday life.
